In Stockton, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across California do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach De Vega Brothers at (209) 323-4339; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, devegabrothers.com.

Stockton is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Stockton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had dinner here last weekend with a couple friends and it turned out to be a pretty solid choice. The place has that cozy, family-style Italian vibe without feeling over the top. I ordered the chicken parm and it came out hot, with plenty of sauce and cheese. The pasta was cooked just right, not mushy like some spots. Our server was friendly and checked in enough without hovering. It did take a little while for the food, but nothing crazy. Overall it was a nice, relaxed meal and Iβd go back again when Iβm craving Italian.

The starters and entrees were delicious. The server was friendly and gave good service. The atmosphere was quiet during happy hour, which meant I could have conversation with my friend. I had the salmon with clam chowder and mashed potatoes. I'll be back for the penne pasta next time.

Good location. Kinda basic/minimal atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Food was 4/5. Fried raviolis were not good. Chicken on the fettuccine Alfredo had great grilled taste but was a little overcooked. Both pasta dishes were pretty tasty. Entrees start at about $30 and go up from there. They have a 15 seat bar too for happy hour etcβ¦

Had the greatest lunch today I used to visit frequently with my late father. The French dip was always our favorite. Today it was just as good as I remember. Tender meat on a soft warm toasty croissant. It brought back so many good memories.
